VIV’s Glasswares are one of the most favored hand-blown glass pipes in the aquatic world offering an outstanding elegance to any aquarium. VIV’s Orchid outflows create a suitable water flow for the Iwagumi style aquascape and when keeping fish in an aquatic plant layout that prefer a moderate water flow, such as cyprinids and characins. The Iwagumi term itself comes from the Japanese term ‘rock formation’ and refers to a layout where stones play the lead role. Rocks provide the structure of the aquascape. The traditional geography is a design made of three main stones: one large headstone and two small others.
Orchid outflow will help achieve this style aquarium. Depending on its placement, the outflow pipe supplies aeration and its narrow outlet provides a slightly downward water stream.
Use with 13 mm or 1/2″ ID tubing and is best used in 12-24” aquariums.
Use with Orchid Inflow.
Important Info: Always wet the glass tubing before inserting the silicon or rubber tubing to avoid damaging Glassware.
